Tunachaser
I also do 10, just a nice round number. But the other part of the equation is how many bullets do you use to determine bullet weight. I find few bullets are actually what is stated on the box, some heavier some lighter. I now weigh 10 and take the lightest one to use in the calculation. Indy574
I do 5 rounds per powder charge. Typically I am running them through multiple guns, so they’re typically 10-15 rounds at the said charge. It’s interesting to see how each one responds to the same charge. I don’t shoot competitions, only for fun.
Sethdaniel05
I do 5 rounds per gun/barrel. Last time I tested 3 so 15 rounds total. All ended up being approximately the same average. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
maur
I run about 10 whenever I chrono. 4-5 feels too small of a pool if you're going for a specific pf.
jwhittin
It depends on your application. 8 rounds provides a very good estimate of the normal distribution for general reloading. May need more for PRS or long range but would have to check the math. Edited November 24, 2023 by jwhittin
