domino329 Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Guys, thanks for the help on a starting point for a load with N320, 180gr coated heads, loaded to 1.180 OAL. 4.7gr gave me 175 PF. My question is, if I wanted a lighter load, not too much lighter, how do I know what OAL to load to? I know I could use less powder, but would I shorten the OAL also? And to what proportion? I’m not trying to get a “really light” 40 load and change springs etc. I am still new to reloading and any help would be greatly appreciated.
