rowdyb
Just like the title says, does anyone else have a MPX (mine is gen 2, using gen 2 mags) that hates feeding short (1.090") flat point bullets? And yes, yes, yes, yes I am using this pistol load to cross over into my pcc. Not full time for it, but it's what I had on hand for a local match and it screwed me over. Nugget
Rowdy, my pcc hated flat point bullets period. When I switched over to round the problem went away. Link to comment
grsdoug
My Gen shoots Montana Gold 121 IFPs fine at 1.095. Link to comment
George16
My 8” gen 2 didn’t have any problems with RMR’s truncated cone FP @ 1.102-1.104”. It’s the same reloads I exclusively use with my Shadow 2. Link to comment
rowdyb
I was having consistent nose up feeding issues with a 1.060" fp. For three stages. Throw in a 1.130" round nose and no issues for the other three stages. Link to comment
George16
Have you tried polishing the left side of the ramp? It helped when a friend did it to his gen 2 that was having problems. I think he used flitz or Mother’s aluminum polish with his dremel polishing pad. I had since shifted to using PD’s 124 Gr JHP so I can use one bullet/load for my pistols and both MPX (8” gen 2 and Competition model). Edited June 11, 2019 by George16 Link to comment
