Looking to make a simple / budget IPSC Standard gun out of a G35. I am used to a slick little Krebs on my 1911. Now, I think I like the look of the buffer tech one. Just figured to shorten the learning / buying curve. I like sexy gear as much as the next guy. But you have a point, practice beats gear sex most days. It's nice 'cause the gun maintains the same balance, but has a slightly bigger opening at the bottom. As far as the G35 not fitting the box, it was designed to fit the box. I guess my logic is that if the pads hang lower than the magwell, it should still fit the box, excepting maybe at the rear. I'll let you know. After shooting the boat anchor I borrowed today, I am about ready to switch over NOW!!! Mostly though, I feel sorry for poor Derek Janowicz. Is it done yet? Is it done yet? how about now?
