Glockmeister35
I have a glock 35 that i shoot in limited and limited 10, was reading alot on the theory of low mass and percieved recoil and what slide lightening accomplishes. wanted to get everyones opinion, has aonyone done it, i have a seen a few OPEN glocks done... pros? cons? THANKS for the help!!!
eric nielsen
Might not make you shoot faster/more accurately but at least a lighter slide would allow a HEAVIER recoil spring which is always a good thing with Glock. Search on "glock springs" or "vertical test" if you're curious. This would be one way to go: novak slide cuts

raz-0
novak EDM cuts the glock slides. The tennifer stuff was making milling not worth it.
Sc0
Some people have reported slide cracking after having the factory variety cut. In the next few months KKM will be introducing some Glock slides, maybe due to better steel cracking will be a non-issue.
TruStreet
Any updates on the KKM slides? I would have thought that a Eval version would have been out for field testing by now.
Sc0
I haven't heard nothing but I do have cash waiting for when they are announced.
Flexmoney
Looks like you are having a good time tricking out your Glock. Nothing wrong with that at all. If you do want to lighten your slide...do it more for the "cdi factor" than for shooting performance. I'm not convinced that a lighter slide on a Glock Limited gun is going to do anything positive for the shooting. In fact, I was wondering if a heavier slide might prove beneficial for Limited Major.
