Dawson Super Tuned Trojan 9mm 1911

Looking at the Dawson Trojan 1911, does anyone have any experience with one or any thoughts on them?

I don't have the Super Tuned, but I do have the hardened  chrome version and I can tell you it is smooth as butter and shoots lights out in a ransom rest, way better than I will be able to shoot it

I bought a blued Trojan 9mm off the classifieds here. It's a great pistol, as are the 45 and 40 Trojans I have. 

I bet that Dawson tuned 9mm will be great too.

 I have over 12k through my 'normal' Trojan 45 with no issues.  The bluing wears off from the holster.  After a year of shooting Single Stack, I just cerakoted it.  From what I remember, the Super Tuned has a nicer trigger pull/feel than the stock version from STI.  I just put an EGW drop-in trigger set and run it.

I got a couple Trojans from Dawson that were "competition ready".

They have all been good guns for me. The only issue I have had was a broken slide stop on my 45 ACP.

I bought a 9mm Trojan from Dawson years ago (2008) that was super tuned I believe.  I know for a fact it wasn't just the CRP package.  Anyhow, I shoot it in IDPA and have Lord knows how many rounds through it.  It runs like a sewing machine.  I wish I had bought two.
