Swage Sense?

Well broke my first swage rod while processing.223. I was leaning towards the Fast & Friendly Brass swage rod or the buying the Mark7 Swage Sense... what’s do you think my better option is? FYI  I only load and process for small primers.

I've loaded 10000+ rounds with the Mark 7 swage sense without any issues.  If it's set up correctly it should stop the press before any damage is done to the case or swage rod.  And if memory serves me correctly I saw 1 posted in the classifieds.

 

Haven't used the F&F swage rod so I can't speak for that one.

Still a Mark7 newb so I can't compare much but I can say the FFB rod locks up the press on ringers, stepped brass, and non decapped brass just fine.

How oh how does it lock up on stepped brass? That would be inside the case, and not near the primer pocket. 

 

If you want to check for checked brass you would nee to get something like the Judge die.

The hold down die when adjusted properly will trip the Torque Sense.
