Big stick feeding

I’m running Frankenstein pcc and I have a bear creek upper. I cannot run a big stick anything past 27 rounds. Is there anything I could to fix the problem.

Get a ramped barrel. Make a spacer on back side of mag around 9-12 witness hole mark location to take the rocking motion out of magazine. A fully loaded mag weight will tend to pull angle down and front of bullet will hit bottom of barrel.

Karries k lower I know cheap off brand but runs great on standard size Glock and magpul magazines

If you have the right tools and you know what your doing yes.

 

And your bolt needs to be milled to clear ramp if it isn’t ramp friendly.

What is your load (ammo)?

I take it a 33round glock or ets mag will not run but the smaller ones do.

We can’t help without details. What magazine? Is there an extension on it? What lower are you using? What Ammo are you using? Etc.

I’m running factory and rmr 115g and blue bullet 124g reloads at 1.100in length

I had the exact same issue on a PSA lower. I added the Taccom feed ramp to my upper. I also made a pad of JB weld on the back of the magazines and sanded it so that the front to back wiggle was taken out. Since then I’ve had no issues with 33 and 43 round magazines.

This is pretty much what I was going to suggest.

To diagnose this as the issue it has to run with smaller mags.

You could make a small wedge and tilt the mag.

Again this is exactly what I did as well. You can also push/pull the big stick to see what fixes or causes the malfunctions to let you know how much to add where

The Taccom ramp fixed my ATI (NFA clone) gun. Rounds, particularly HP bullets would slam into the breech and stop. With the ramp, rounds of all type are funneled straight to the chamber.

 

This is with the Taccom huge mag extension (57 rounds) and any other mags I've tried.
