Adrenaline
Glock17. Just ordered carver 4 port comp and Kkm barrel along with carver mount thumb rest, not sure if I will use it or not, Cr speed holster, cmore 6moa dot, carver Wolff guide rod and 13 14 15 lb springs. 9mm major here I come. Bobby gave me some 9 major load data for hs6. I'm excited.
Amerflyer48
Bon Fortuna, keep us posted I’m thinking of Limited Major and building up a 22 with a sight block for 2020
Aircooled6racer
Hello: You may want to get some lighter recoil springs in the 11 and 12lb range. On the Glock 17 build I did I was using a 11lb ISMI recoil spring. I also tried 115, 124, 125, 135 and 147 grain bullets. The 135 grain bullets felt the best. 115's which I normally shoot in my open 9mm 2011's was too harsh. KC when he shot a Glock was using 147's. Thanks, Eric
Adrenaline
I thought so too but Bobby Carver insisted on the 11 and 12 lb springs being too light
Hi-Power Jack
I've never shot a Glock Major, but from what I've read about the experience, I wonder if it might be a good idea to add some weight to the gun - try to tame the recoil.
Adrenaline
Well see, I will definatly keep updates going. I'm curious if when I go to the kkm barrel, should I replace the locking block I have with a new one? So the new barrel can have a new locking block to kind of mate to. I know glocks tolerances arent that tight but wonder if this should be done?
Jfitz427
The carver 4 port comp is great, super effective. hs6 was what I ran in my open Glock. It shot pretty damn flat. I would add a frame weight though. It’ll help a lot. Glocks ars just so light, even with comps and mounts, dots and magwells.
