SS Bear Creek Arsenal threaded barrel

Tungsten full length w/ 14lb spring

Zen magwell with heavy brass insert

S&J 11 port comp

Ambi slide racker

Taylor Freelance +12 base pads on G22 magazines

I did the Grip reduction and micro stipple over the holiday weekend. Looking forward to being a more active member after years of lurking around LOL.

That's a relatively cheap way to dip your toes into open.  Hopefully the PO tuned the pistol and provided the recipe for ammo.

He said he had the pistol setup to run factory ammo. I will be working with the run to find the best ammo that makes major PF and runs reliably.

I planned to to dive into Limited at first. Bought a RIA Tac Ultra 40. Sent it to Hayes Custom for his race ready package. 6 week wait so I came across the G22 and decided to purchase.

Have fun life is short

Exactly. I was looking at an CK 2011 Open pistol. Not affraid to spend the money at all. Wife says I have to many toys. I say you never have to many. The glock was a deal so I bought it. It will be a fun way to get back into it. The RIA Tac Ultra 40 was a impulse buy while talking to a friend who is shooting Limited now. Me not being one to leave well enough alone I sent it to Hayes Customs the day after I picked it up LOL.

You might have to change the springs to go from PF 125+ to PF165+.

Go slowly - work up to PF150 or so first, and then slowly up the 165+ - safer that way    :)

You might find that  lighter  bullets feel better with the comp.    :)

You get to use more powder, and they produce more gas

which makes the comp more effective.

It’s something I am definitely gonna work through. I love the process.
