amlew
Does anyone have an idea how light of DAO pull weight a 929 could have that would reliably ignite factory federal american eagle? Thanks
Toolguy
It depends on whether they used Federal or CCI primers when they loaded them. ATK owns both companies, I don't know if they mix primers between brands. If they are Federal primers, you can get a reliable 6 to 6.5 pound pull fairly easily. Every gun is an individual, as well. No 2 DA trigger pulls will be exactly alike, although they can be very similar.
swordfish
It depends on the gun, moonclips, and primer seat depth (as long as their Federals).
PatJones
The double action trigger weight isn't the determining factor, the amount of spring weight on the hammer is.The weight of the trigger is linked to the weight of the hammer, but there's more to it than that. Alaskan454
Warren's question is the biggest unknown, do they ever put CCI primers in Federal ammunition? I have no idea on that one.
