Canman
For the price and warranty if they are I believe I’ll give one a try on my 10/22.
zzt
A FF3 with 8 MOA dot is bright enough for steel challenge if the battery is relatively new. The battery lasts so long it is easy to miss it getting dimmer. Just put a new battery in, set it to max brightness and you are good to go. I've owned the smaller MOA FF3 and it's not worth the bother, but I've looked through several 8moa FF3's on other folks' guns, and that one looks like a solid choice. toothandnail
The FF lll is very bright, unless the sun is the back drop for your targets, you will have no problems.

Matt1911
Good to go, especially on a rifle where the dot is hard to miss.
