The mags function flawlessly for a while then the above issues start happening Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk post pictures of your follower also, run a file down the inside of you mag to see if you have any burs this sounds like the same problem that happens with 33rd KCI mags. basically the metal liner likely has burs of metal or plastic from either the spring, follower, brass, copper, etc and it's catching the follower/spring on the way down and up. First clue is the stopping every 3-4 rounds second is the twisted spring Like mentioned above, the glock mags liner is 1 piece of sheet metal, and the come together on the back side(primer side) if you drop the mag the right/wrong way, and/or put it under a lot of stress, that's the first place it'll start to deform and cause problems Link to comment
Neomet
I'm not so sure the OAL is the issue if it ran 800 or so rounds with them without burping and I agree 1.125 is where it should be. Not to just sound like a simpleton parts changer diagnostician but if you take the follower, spring and BP and swap them into a new mag body and it runs I would be inclined to think it is something with the mag body. Beyond that I am not much help other than to see if you picked up the bullets when the mag puked and checked them out for variances. I'm grasping at straws though. Link to comment
mveto
I had a similiar issue with one of my mags, it ended up being the back end of the mag had started to separate. Used a pair of pliers to squeeze it back together and just keep an eye on it now. Link to comment
