Stock 3 frame question

Looking at race holsters the stock 3 seems to have it's own model separate from the other square trigger guard models.

 

Is the trigger guard different on the stock 3? Just appearance wise the trigger guard looks the same and the bottom of the dust cover looks like the same height just has the rail.

I would imagine the square dustcover is somehow the reason why: the trigger guard and grip match the other models.

 

Since none of us get to run a race holster here in Production in the USA, we won’t be super helpful.

I'm in the USA also just found a good deal on a race holster for the stock 3 specifically and was wondering why it wouldn't work with my limited frame.

Indeed this is about a larger Stock 3 dustcover with rails. The angle of DAA Race Master insert block is cut differently to allow for more clearance. I used Stock 3 insert that received a healthy amount of dry-fire with Stock 3, Stock 2 small frame and Limited Custom large frame. It's a little bit more slop but not even remotely a problem. Stock 3 won't go into plain TAN insert.

 

I have a lightly used Stock 3 DAA magnetic insert for sale in case you're interested. You may need to file on the inside a little due to Tanfoglio frame variances.

I have a DAA PDR that I bought for a Shadow 2, and it will also work for the Stock 3. It actually will fit my M&P, 1911's, & SP01. Great holster, lots of adjustment.
