JAFO
For those running a 45-degree offset reflex sight for hard leans, what model and dot size has worked best for you? Do you think finding one with a top-load battery compartment is important, or just convenient? Link to comment
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I think the laser option is a better one for me. The hard leans are usually easier with a green laser that I can shoot with hands stretched out. Moderate leans I can usually get with weak shoulder but using my strong hand on the trigger. The popular dot at 45 degrees around here is the Vortex. Thanks, Eric Link to comment
Flatland Shooter
On my PCC setup for USPSA I have both. They don't add much weight and I'm not in the "lighter is better" camp. Due to the Texas sun, sometimes a laser just is not enough. On hard leans with the targets out past 10 yards a red dot is a better idea. I have a Burris FF3 mounted at 45 deg. The FF3 has the battery compartment on top. I also have and older FF2 that with the battery compartment on the bottom the POI should be checked each change. Link to comment
