petrojc
You may want to try a dovetail mount to see if you like it before you cut your slide...I have one on a CZ P07, works really well.

I have dabbled in carry optic before, but I really have a hard time finding my dot for the first shot. Once I got going, I didn't lose it while firing, just out of the holster. Do y'all have any suggestions for making this transition easier? Thanks, Jason Focus on presenting with the sights aligned and level, (aka dot directly in the center of the window) all from once the gun is in you peripheral to all the way on target I found I had a bad practice of this with normal sights, then when trying a dot it all falls apart

I just started CO after multiple years of Production. I believe this is something I am struggling with as I tend to lose the dot on transitions, position entry etc where as I seem to find it decently off the draw. I'm thinking my focus is drawing back off the target to the gun in a lot of these situations.
