Any Uspsa In The U.p. Of Michigan?

Pete Linquist of Munising once told me this joke:

What follows two days of rain or snow in the UP?

MONDAY! :P

Never did go shooting there but did quite a few wreck dives. It's weird seen 150 year old wrecks of wooden ships with paint left on them...

Enjoy the pasties (eh)

Thread drift mode on:

Have you been on the Mesquette? One of the more recent wrecks, and kind of deep, but still a great dive. I am trying to decide if I want to pay the money to hire Pete's boat for a day or not. I have dove almost all of the wrecks up there that you can with regular SCUBA, but my brother will be up there, and he hasn't.

Nat's are 2 weeks away, and I can't deal with a weekend of no shooting. There has to be some IPSC in the U.P.

Never got over to the Keweenaw Peninsula to dive the Mesquite. Just the ones near Munising and the Kiowa. (There was still at least one brass porthole on that guy in the early 90's). Pete is a real gentleman, a great dive operator and he does a killer imitation of someone from the UP, eh? Pete is (or was in the 90's) a class act.
