MikieM
My new PCC tips the scales at 5 pounds, 13 ounces with an empty forty-one round magazine. Although I have very little range time on it (still unresolved feeding issues) I believe a featherweight gun is the best way to go in this Division. Also, since most of the weight is towards the rear, the dot should rise quicker, then settle quicker. What do you all think about overall weight. Weight front to back. Etc.? Thanks, Mike. Aircooled6racer
Hello: I am still working on that. If the rifle is too light on the front it does not work as well as when it is a little heavier in the front for me. Overall weight comes into play also but if you can move the rifle around quickly enough for the stage there is no problem. I look at the PCC more like a shotgun than a pistol. If it swings too quick it is more of a problem than if it swings a little slower and flatter. This is for USPSA pistol matches. Steel Challenge would be as light as possible in the front and overall. nickbfishn
Mine is very similar, but probably closer to 6.5lbs. I’ve only shot it at 2 uspsa matches and I like it so far. At my first steel match I fell in love with it! Link to comment
