  1. What model Freedomsmith trigger is everyone using for the SFX? I bought one a long time ago and never installed it as I haven’t been shooting very much lately. I think it’s the racer version, anyone using one of these? If so how do you like it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This seems like a great price but you will definitely have to cerikote it. There stuff is known to be high quality and very lightweight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have a PWS ambi MK1 Mod2 lower and Bootleg Inc upper that are considered a matching pair that I would highly recommend. They are both considered light weight compared to Mil-Spec. The lower is forged and a decent price $200. The upper has additional material near the threads to make it more rigid and is $130-150 depending on sale. Also I just came across V7 weapons system has a secondary company called LV7 which is a ladies version of all of their products. They offer some very light upper/lower matched sets but I don’t think there ambi but very pretty. They also sell a very light 13.5” magnesium hand guard on the LV7 site that is much cheaper then the regular V7 version, around $200. It will fit pretty much every upper on the market. https://www.primaryweapons.com/product-url-6793 https://www.vsevenweaponsystems.com/lvsevenweapons-com/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I wasn’t saying the PSA was better or worse, I was just throwing out other options. I don’t own either as I have a dedicated lower. I didn’t realize you could reach the mag release with your strong hand. I thought both required weak hand to grab mag/use thumb to release mag or grab and pull trigger like on the PSA. 5. Have you bought the adapter yet? If not check out the PSA adapter. It’s an all aluminum adapter that has the mag release in the front and is shaped like a curved trigger. All the reviews seem to say it works good and is well made. https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-custom-9mm-glock-compatible-mag-well-conversion-block.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Nice looking rifle and well worth the price for what your getting. I really like the upper and hand guard. It looks really solid and still is lightweight. I’ve never heard of this company before. Good luck and keep us posted if anything out of the norm happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I don’t own one yet but I’ve read a bunch of reviews and all the sites that sell them seem to have 4-5 star reviews. The new Primary Arms SLx Compact 1x20 Prism Scope - ACSS-Cyclops, wow that’s a long name. The chevron gives a finer aiming point then most other dot style prism sights. It has a etched reticle and is supposedly good to 400 yds with the ACSS reticle. There’s also one from Swampfox optics that is getting great reviews and is just like the Primary arms cyclops with pretty much same features. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. They are located in Canada so no US sales. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Where did you hear the Tacomm lightweight buffer was discontinued? They are showing in stock on their website. I just bought one a month ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I’m not sure if you bought the Larue mbt’s new or not but I thought they included a heavy and medium spring in the package. I might be thinking of a different trigger but if they do I would make sure you are using the lighter of the two. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Kinda off subject sorry but what has happened to the price of the Steiner 1-4x , I bought one new 2 years ago for $500-$550 now they are $700-$800 plus at some places? Back to the subject, what kind of distances will you be shooting? I’m not a glass snob but it definitely helps with the lower powered scopes having decent glass. I think a Vortex Viper PST2 1x-6x would be better then any of those 1-8 you have listed and you can find them used with a mount for around $600. Someone was selling one not to long ago with a nice BoBro mount for $600-$700ish if I recall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Barry, Do you have a modified/cut bolt carrier already? You would need to have it done if you went with the Shooting Innovations barrel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Is the a forum discount code or over the phone? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Lol yes I know it should have been “their stuff”. I usually reply with voice messaging so I don’t have to type so much but the iPhone doesn’t always spell the words correctly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Have you had any feeding issues with there barrel and bolt? I’ve read that there setup is very picky on ammo. I want to build a upper with there stuff but wanted to hear more reviews before I pulled the trigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Just realized this post was started back in 2016, anyways to add these are supposedly awesome shooters for a cheap price.
  17. Great review thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I thought the whole point of the fully captive pins was to stop the pins from rotating and causing your lower’s pin holes to become enlarged over time. Also to keep them from walking out the side of the receiver Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Some companies make anti walk pins/captive with just button head screws. So do those still rotate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Following looking forward to your review Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes that is normal unless you said it was 6-12 inches different. Any update on what you are going to do next to gain clearance? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. That’s awesome to hear she is doing good and progressing, there’s definitely not enough women/girls involved in this sport. If you don’t mind me asking how old is she? My daughter is 18 and she is now just showing some interest in shooting. When she was younger she played every sport but wanted nothing to do with guns. I think I could partly blame her mother for that.
  23. Gerritm, Just curious is this the barrel model number you are using? Is it Chrome lined? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If you find that the accuracy doesn’t get any better with the hand-guard removed. I would check your barrel nut torque next like others have said and maybe try tightening it a bit more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Maybe try taping some paper wrapped around the back of the brake between the hand guard and brake to see if any marks are left after shooting it. I’m not 100% this will work but I figured it would leave some type of indent on the paper. That’s very little clearance and with the extra weight of the suppressor on there I would be surprised it wasn’t hitting the hand guard.
