Mushki25
I agree you kept your finger out I started shooting single stack and had that happen a few times before I adopted a load and make ready ritual which includes tugging on the mag to ensure it is fully seated. Balwolley
Not sure if ive had a mag fall out, but I know I've had some FTE and I've racked another round and caused the problem to be worse. Yes make sure to rack that slide first, THEN reinsert the mag lol. No fingers in the trigger guard either
my00wrx1
The unintentional mag drop was probably caused downward pressure on the pistol when it was picked up. If the pistol was resting on the mag release, a small amount of downward pressure can be enough to activate it. The magazine still stays in the pistol when you pick it up but the first shot and slide movement causes the mag to drop out of the mag well. JKSNIPER
During your racking the slide process attempting to clear your malfunction your finger DID enter the trigger guard for a brief moment. Watch the video carefully and you can see it. Happens about the 10-11 second mark. Edited September 27, 2017 by JKSNIPER Add comment
