If it makes weight it would be at least IDPA legal. The rail length and weight were the things keeping it out of IDPA before. 2017 allows full length dust covers. If you can find a "kit" on ebay or gunbroker with the parts it would be reasonable. Buying new you may as well get a bolo disconnector, titan hammer and extreme trigger. But that would be spendy.
