Yup. That  is about the best direction to take.

Run a couple hundred rounds through the gun, and go back in and polish everything that shows wear. It's possible that you'll lose another half pound of the DA weight... but tough to say. Every one of these Italian guns is different.

Hit all the pivot points  (pins and holes) and really get rid of the zipper feel in the plunger.  and use quality lube.

I hit all the pins pretty good, the holes didnt get any love.  The zipper feel is all but gone after polishing the plunger rod and head.  I am pretty happy with the numbers that I have, and like Memphis says, after some rounds down range they will probably drop a bit more.  I am not chasing the lowest numbers, just want smooth and crisp, with relative lightness.  Feels like it is where I want it at the moment though.  

 

Making me want to find that polymer Tanfo carry piece now, so I can tinker on that haha!
