bottomc
I need help with the disassembly of a new 11-87 20 ga. I need to remove the trigger group. Any easy fixes?
MikeFoley
If it is like the 12 ga., simply push out the two pins in the reciever and gently pull out the trigger group.
bottomc
No need to disassemble the whole receiver? thanks
MikeFoley
No, the trigger group will come out and leave everything else intact. You will want to do this with the bolt closed.
outerlimits
as a side note, anyone seen any docs for disassembly of the 1100 trigger group??
George
I keep a PDF of the manual for the Remington 1100 and 11-87 here: http://www.3gunrules.com/documents/multi-gun-info/manuals/ It has disassembly instructions and more. -- Regards,
IPSCDRL
Thanks for the link George. In looking at the manual, it seems the firing pin retaining pin is driven from the top of the bolt out the bottom for removal. Can anyone here verify this? The firing pin on Remzilla broke today.
