Rye
I'm trying to develop a load for 9mm major 124gr PD JHP using VV N350 7.6-7.8gr powder with OAL of 1.150. Is it safe to load it with that OAL? Thanks
CZ85Combat
You wont need that much powder. Start at 6.8 and wort up to 7.1 In my CZ Czechmate: 124 PD 7.0gn N350 @ 1.150 172 PF. I now use 125gn Blue Bullets 125gn 6.8gn N350 @ 1.150 169PF

jcc7x7
Your OAL is based on mags and chamber. So if 1.150 fits in your chamber just adjust the load accordingly. I use one bullet that has a shoulder on it so I can only load it to 1.150. Most of the other of the same weight I can go to 1.175 the CHRONO say I need 3-4 tenths less with that bullet at 1.150 so when I use those I just adjust the powder measure and OAL and all is well. fortunately my gun feeds them fine at 1.

I've loaded 9mm Major, with 124 gr bullets as low as 1.145" and all was well. BUT, if you can, there are some advantages to loading a little longer (1.16") - Run The Plunk Test, and see if they'll feed.
