andrewtac
I got a couple STI tubes I plan on using for dry fire only. What would be the cheapest base plate, followers, and springs I could use? They will never see live fire, will fill them up with dummy rounds and only use for dry fire. racknrider
Buy some factory guts from someone in the classifieds.
Foxj66
I would stick with the same basepad you always use so that they feel the same. Stock sprigs and followers will work, or stick a couple new springs and followers in your match mags and use the old ones.
andrewtac
Yeah I thought about getting mbx base pads for feel but I don't think it will make a difference. Maybe that is what I'll do. Funds are getting low making the switch to limited, I have been watching the classifieds to collect some things.
Foxj66
I just use a couple mags for all my live fire and dri fire practice use that way they take the beating and my match mags stay gtg
andrewtac
I have done that. I guess I am being lazy as I want to keep a couple loaded. I have limited time right now, every second counts.
