johnbu Posted September 15, 2016 Share Posted September 15, 2016 I bought some extra super strong magnets to help find those tiny parts. Worst ever was the cocked indicator bushing in an xdm. (Plastic) it launched by an xtra power striker spring and vanished. Found...eventually ... 25 feet away, across the room, in a box on a shelf 5' up. Sucker made a "3 pt" shot into the box. Another likely candidate for a high velocity disappearing act is a front takedown detent for an AR... As it seems the spring is too short for it to run against the plunger and allow the mag release to be pressed properly. Where can I buy a few? Glad you posted this.
