PatrickDoyle
I have applied epoxy with grit on front strap only of M and P. Will that take me out of SSP, or it considered grip tape still. No stippling on gun at all just some gritty sand? pat
BillR1
If it's a permanent mod, then you're probably out of SSP. You could do it on the replaceable grip panels on the backstrap, since those are not considered permanent.
WhiteDingo
IDPA considers "glue and grit" the same as stippling, so it can only be done on easily replaceable parts of the frame for SSP. That being said, at a tier one match (or even two, if no one is doing a decent equipment check), if that's the only thing not SSP legal on the gun, I wouldn't foresee you catching much flak for it. daytona955i
If you can't strip it off, sand it down and stick some grip tape over it.
