ams30gts
What could have caused this? It's not very old and doesn't have that many rounds on it. I was just moving along and I saw my trimmer fall to the bench in slow motion! I was loading on a super 1050 and a 1200b trimmer.
Solvability
It was defective.
lefty o
agree, the break is cold gray and porous, not good!
rjacobs
Thats where they break. Ive had 2 non-dillon trim dies break. Not sure why they broke, but they broke right there where there was basically no threading.
dillon
The gray color is caused by heat treat, not oxidation. Most likely cause is a lock ring loosened a little, allowing increased vibrations. A return authorization for replacement was messaged to you.
