GreenDragoon
Greetings everyone. I may be looking for a new IDPA firearm. Notes: * I'm new to IDPA...practicing for my qualifier now. I've shot casual, outlaw matches. * I shoot Steel Challenge with a CZ 75 TS * My bedside gun is an HK45. * I've been shooting (and REALLY enjoying) lately my new Sig Legion P226. * I shot IPSC back in the 1980's with a 1911. That is the platform I'm most comfortable with to this today and at some point, I'll shoot it in ESP. I can commit to the P226 for IDPA, but....BUT, I shot a friends P320 and like it quite a bit....the consistent trigger pull. I've dry fired the VP9, but no live fire. Any input on the VP9 vs. the P320? Thanks in advance.

GreenDragoon
Leave the weird mag releases to the Europeans that's funny. I have to admit though, that I really like the "paddles" on my HK45. I appreciate you input though.
JRM83
Out of the box the VP9 is a better gun. If you plan on modifying the gun for competition the P320 has far more potential.

polymerfeelsweirdman
I can't stand his videos since he dips the gun after almost every shot An idea is to wait for the p320 target
Kingman
Personally I have shot both and prefer the recoil impulse of the
Stangs55
Get the one that fits your hand the best. Don't get caught up in minor specifics of one technical physical advantage over the other. Both are capable guns. You'll perform better with the one that sits more naturally with you.
