LarryPScott
I normally shoot open class but after having to send my gun off to repair shop i started shooting production for a while and I noticed that I was shooting high left a lot after doing some training I realize that I had to do a lot of work on my trigger pull with my finger to make sure it was straighter back. Is this very common as anybody else ran across this?
LarryPScott
Did not think my basics where that bad but open with a 2011 has made my basics messy
Foxj66
The 1911/2011 trigger can mask issues a lot easier than other triggers. What gun are you shooting for production?

Hi-Power Jack
I can't imagine why you'd pull the shots UP ... Left, yes, if you're right handed.
kneelingatlas
Does your CZ have a FO front sight? I'll bet due to the different grip angle you're presenting the pistol with the front sight high, covering the target with the dot and breaking the shot. Just an idea
LarryPScott
Yes it has fiber front sight. I noticed during white wall drills it is moving i think it is the trigger pull

CodyAxon
Different guns, different triggers, different results. Just keep working on it and you'll get used to the different gun.
Foxj66
Larry, How is it going I now realize who it is. Does the CZ have dots on the rear or black? also is it each trigger pull or just the first one?
LarryPScott
Its all pulls. It has dots on back
Foxj66
Do you think you could be trying to line the dots up instead of the sights? to add more problems to the trigger, I just don't see how you would mess the single action pull up much on a CZ Edited May 18, 2016 by Foxj66
LarryPScott
I will try blacking out rear dots
