Trying to find peanut tuning thread

I seem to remember a photo of how/where on the barrel lug "peanut" to file if the gun is a little sluggish going into battery. My Classic 2 doesn't always want to close after slide lock reloads and is a little crunchy when racking the slide beck about 1/2 an inch.

I've never seen a tutorial, but this is the area of the peanut the slide stop rubs as the slide goes home:

If you're going to work on the peanut, I suggest you use fine sandpaper only so you don't remove too much metal; this area is critical to the lockup, take too much metal from here and your accuracy will be lost.

ok, that was my next question. What to use (sandpaper, small file, etc) and how.

I would leave the peanut/bean alone unless you see some bur in there. Your barrel could be fit a little tight, which could also cause this.

It definitely has a sharper corner on it than in my Stock 2s. I'll mark it up with a paint pen and see where it's hanging up
