wgj3
Looks to me like the "3D" cuts that Glenn/LSI is doing could serve a dual purpose. I realize that on an Open gun they are primarily for reducing slide weight and appearance, but it looks to me like would provide great traction in place of more traditional serrations, etc. So, my questions is whether or not you great minds think that USPSA would allow them in SS. I have a "fat" SA 9mm that is going to have to get cut to make weight. Just considering options before making a decision. I know that it could be tri-topped to lose some weight and then add more traditional serrations to the front of the slide as there are none at present, but these 3D cuts look pretty cool. How am I going to get the max weight out of the slide? Edited May 5, 2016 by wgj3
z40acp
The Browning Hi Power cut on the front of the slide is legal.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Internal lighten the slide. Cut down barrel bushing. Cut under rear sight. Tri top and serrate top. All the rest is done on the frame and grips. Thanks, Eric
MikeRush
A quick email to Troy could resolve that in a more definitive way. I love the 3d cuts for the aesthetics! If the DVC Classic is OK, there is no reason Glenn's cuts shouldn't be OK.

scooterj
As long as the cuts do not go all the way through the slide, you should be good.
