splashdown
I am considering going from a SDB to a new XL650. Can I use my existing strong mount and bullet tray "as is" for a new 650? The SDB strong mount has a top plate connecting the two legs. I know it's a little tall, but could I mount the 650 to that?
Hi-Power Jack
Probably wrong, but I believe the 650 is going to need a larger mount ...
Boxerglocker
I don't think it will work Larry. The base profile is completely different on the 650, needs different side plates. If I had to do it again I would get a Inline Fabrication Mount. In fact if you get a 650 and want to save a few bucks I'll sell you my 650 strong mount cheap and get a Inline for mine Edited March 21, 2016 by Boxerglocker
splashdown
Cheap is my middle name. I'll contact you Mitchell when I get the 650 coming.
L3324temp
I am almost positive the press will mount if you remove the top SDB plate. I don't know if the bullet tray will mount but holes could be drilled for that.
