Lightening AR Bolt Carrier

Putting together a lightweight and this is one of the final pieces.

Anyone have a standard BCG shaved down? I have a spare one laying around that I'd like to use rather than buy something new if possible.

Any suggestions or contacts?

You're probably going to spend more on having the machining done, unless you do it yourself, than you would spend on a basic lightweight BCG, like one of the AIM lightweight units, which are only $120 or so

Bingo. We could lighten a BCG easily,but the time it would take to draw it and set it up would just about run what an already lightened bolt is.

There's the standard from Aim. They also have a NiB coated one if I recall. Just put your name on the notify list for when they come back in stock

Yeah I ended up going with the aim one. Should be able to test the rifle by next weekend

try a Whiskey Arms Aluminum BC you wont get much lighter and they offer a few colors now as well

run the bolt of your choice in the carrier
