KevinNY
I'd like to get a p320 grip module hydro dipped. Will the process make the grip slippery vs the factory stippling? Can I have the stippling taped off and left as it if so?
BASE772
I've never even heard of hydro dip. Is there another name for it?
chaosshooter00
It doesn't affect the stippling at all. I've done it over stippling, grip tape and epoxied abrasive. Make sure they don't get the base color too thick, the paint is where the problem is. Hydro film is so thin you can't tell it's there. Good luck. KevinNY
I'm having a friend paint mine as he is fairly experienced in doing glocks. Nice to be able to buy a grip frame and mail it to him. We are trying Berlin Brigade camo.
dhighlan
I did a glock 21, and it did make the gun much more slick and smoothed out the the edges on the grip. Also, gun solvent and repealants with Deet removed the coating.
