hlpressley
What is your preference for sight size for the 5" Pro and 147gr bullet? I am still using the factory Pro F/O front and blacked out rear and was thinking that something a little more specific to the gun and bullet from DP may be advantageous. Thoughts? wgj3
Not sure what you mean regarding "specific to the bullet", but I find that a narrower front sight helps me. Height of the front is going to depend on your personal poi/poa preference. Dawson also offers replacement rear sights with different(narrower) notch widths if you need to adjust the amount of light on either side of the front blade after changing the front blade width. There was a great write-up about sight selection in Front Sight a while back.
Hi-Power Jack
I find a narrower front sight helps me. +1 Factory sights are much too wide. But, has nothing to do with the weight of the bullet.
Lior
Wide sight for indoor ranges, narrow sight for outdoor ones. Just for fun.
UncleTK
Wide sight for indoor ranges, narrow sight for outdoor ones. Just for fun. WHY?
Lior
Wide sight for indoor ranges, narrow sight for outdoor ones. Just for fun. WHY? The indoor ranges that I frequent are too dark for me to pick up a narrow front sight quickly, given my fifth decade eyes.
