Vincerama
Are there uppers WITHOUT the FA but still HAVE the brass deflector? Deflector is nice for shooting left handed.

JordanGriffith
You can always get a standard upper and order a Plug AR from Mark at Carbon arms instead of the forward assist. But it's not really going to save much money, both are really cheap, I just put the forward assist in mine, but I didn't know about the Plug otherwise I would have put the plug in just because I never use the forward assist
Stlhead
Some call it a forward assist, I like to call it my secret button. When I press it it fills me with joy and quiet satisfaction knowing that it does nothing, like posting on internet chat boards about things that do not matter when I should be working. JordanGriffith
Your pic isn't working. On the bright side, all I need to finish my build now is a barrel and gas block. My 16.5" keymod showed up and my CMC trigger

I am always tempted to convert mine into an oiler. That would be really sweet.
