Balakay
I just picked up a phoenix Trinity grip. The STI Mag release protrudes on the right side and digs into my middle finger. The BCG cyclone button also needs to be grinded down because it contacts the grip and will not drop a magazine. I am a little nervous to start grinding with the Dremel on my gun. Any suggestions/words of wisdom etc? Which dremel attachment works best for this?
Nugget
If you grind, always grind the cheapest part if you can, and pt grips were made with svi parts in mind, I've been told.

MrPostman
Nugget is correct, always modify the cheaper part if possible.
ltdmstr
Dawson mag release works fine on PT grip and will prevent overinsertion. Plus it's much better quality than the STI part.
Balakay
Thanks. I will grind the mag release button. Best tool/ dremel bit for this??
Sudden Death
No matter what button you put in it it will need to be blended a bit, the cyclone button should drop the mag no problem
MrPostman
I would use a file if you have some. Start with a #0 or #2 cut needle files. Finish with some 400 grit or higher sand paper. Its easy to get carried away with the dremel, and its very hard to keep the surface profiled and uniform as well.
