Firefight5243
This would be for an STI Executive with Bull barrel. If that helps.

splashdown
Gary Natale built my 40 open top end. His comps are here, but the "order" links are not working. May have to call?? I had a No. 5 comp on mine, but also was looking at the No. 3 and 12 if I recall correctly. http://www.gansguns.com/MAINCOMPS.html
zzt
You didn't say what brand of gun you are building. Carver Custom does have comps. One set (his); the other is SJC. Most of them have different threads, so be careful. 9/16 x 24, 28 and 32 are the most common. If none of these work, just buy a 9mm/38 comp and open it up, as suggested above. I have M14 x .75 threads on one of my barrels, so that is exactly what I am going to do.
