$5 ACP VS 40 SW

If I may ask, what is the difference between shooting a 45 ACP and 40 SW handgun, especially when it comes to recoil? Which among the 2 calibers is easier to control or manage?

I think .40 is a little softer but I don't think there is enough of a differnce to,worry about it. I like the .40 so,I can have 1 load for my Ltd and ss major guns.

.45 recoil is often described as a push compared to a sharp snap with .40. That being said, I find my .45 easier to shoot than my .40, hope that helps.

at the same power factor and bullet weight, they will be pretty much the same.

in general tho, 40 uses lighter bullets, and pushes them faster, which creates a snappier feeling recoil. Many good shooters prefer that snappier quicker feeling.

Pretty much. If you're shooting Limited, .40 is what you're going to want.

Shoot them both, then see which one you like better. .40 will be cheaper and and give you a significant capacity advantage in Limited division.
