Tmcfarland
I purchased a new ambi safety from Lonestar Innovations with a twist...Left side wide and right side tactical. I did not know there would be some much filing to fit it but all went well. All safety functions are 100%, kind of proud of myself for the first modification done to my Sams Custom Gunworks custom 2011
Tmcfarland
Had to modify it a little more as the left side was positioned where the back edge was digging into my index knuckle. Took some metal off and reshaped, of course I got into it a little with the file so the whole thing got a little polishing. Thanks
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I have to modify all my thumb safeties. They bite me on my knuckles. I have not found one yet I didn't have to grind on to fit me. Looks like a nice setup for a lefty. Thanks, Eric
ltdmstr
What is that notch on the left side for? Next to the frame.
Tmcfarland
That's something that Glenn came up with to slip a small screw driver behind it to aid in removal Thanks
