vtecpaoche Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 I was originally going with a 6" build 40 S&W 2011 and have a 6" KKM barrel. After some thought, I was thinking of changing to a 5.4" barrel. I was told that cutting down the 6" is a bad idea. Where can you find 5.4" barrels other than Schuemann? Dan Sierpina Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 (edited) Where are you located? Inside every long barrel is a shorter barrel waiting to be let loose. The only factor is whether or not it's a bull barrel. Even then most of them are machined to allow for a shorter slide. bmiller Posted September 23, 2015 Share Posted September 23, 2015 I have an Infinity 6" sight tracker in a 5" slide. When I ordered the barrel I had to tell they I wanted a 5" lockup.
