BigBamBoo
So...I made it to the range to actually try out the new S&W 929. First off I am going to have to do a lot of work to get this down. But like anything new...just got to put the time in. Here is a video of my first time "under the clock" with it...bring on the flames! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r-0aji0BW8
AzShooter
Good start. Keep your reloading times and try to improve. Just make them smoother. In time they will come.
MrBorland
Get your reloads down, and it looks pretty good. You're losing at least a second on your reloads. Get them down, and my bet is you'd be just under 6 seconds. How's your accuracy? Good enough to hit a big plate, but good enough to hit the A-zone at speed? btw, I swear I counted 14 (not 13) shots through your STI. BigBamBoo
Yep....I will need LOTS of PRACTICE with it that is for sure. Not sure about the 14 rounds with the STI...timer only picked up 13. Yes, at 8-10 yards I can generally keep em in the A zone at that speed....when I see my sights. Alaskan454
I counted 14 too, you're doing well for a first day out with the 929. Nice looking rig too. How do you like the IV timer? I'm in the market for one myself. Keep at it with thosee reloads, your gonna have a lot of fun.
BigBamBoo
Thanks. The timer is BIG. I do like it and it has more features then I will ever use. I plan on buying a CE Pocket Pro for the small size.
Alaskan454
Haha, I was trying to decide between the IV and a pocket pro II.
CoThG
Nice rig you have, but why didn't you remove the lock when you had the action work done?
ANGRYREB
What brand is your cylinder release? Thanks

Forrest Halley
This guy's quit shooting revo...his cylinder release is made by 10mmdave. Look him up on here. It sure beats a hogue for the money. $50 vs. $80...and a lot of dremel work saved. I would have gone that way if I had to do it over again. Scootertheshooter
Daves cylinder releases are in my opinion are the best. I'm a lefty and have tried a bunch and kept going back to stock. After putting his on its ergonomically perfect and much easier to operate than anything else. Definitely worth a try you won't be disappointed Edited October 13, 2015 by Scootertheshooter
