Garmil
Got a very lightly used sp01 tactical. Have already ordered cgw 11lb recoil spring, 11.5 hammer springs, trigger return spring, perfection firing pin. The recoil spring that's in it binds really bad and zig zags on the guide rod in the slide and the plastic guide rod is already pretty bent. Will my new recoil spring help alleviate some of this? magpulled
If he new spring is a lighter weight I would think it wouldn't bind as much.
hlpressley
Order the stainless guide rod from CGW as well. Only $
Garmil
Put my 11lb cgw recoil spring in. Still seems too long and binds. Any problem with shortening it?
bigdave24
CZ recoil springs do appear too long, but they've never given me an issue as far as gun function.
adamge
In a CZ brand spring guys usually run 13lb recoil springs around here (SP-01 Shadows).
Garmil
It's a cgw spring not sure how that compares. 13 seems heavy to me for light 9mm at least it has in other guns.
