itzjere
So I was cleaning out my SP01 last night after a short range trip (<150 rounds) and while cleaning, I found this small, thin metal ring inside my chamber. I also noticed a second ring wrapped around my barrel cleaning brush. Any idea what this is? I've put a few thousand rounds though my CZ and haven't seen this until today, let alone in any of my other pistols. Only recent change is I've started to reload.. Not sure if that is related, but wanted to throw it out there.

zzt
This is just a wild guess, but it looks like the crimped edge of the case mouth came off.
kneelingatlas
Do you use jacked or plated bullets?
itzjere
I use Xtreme copper plated bullets. I thought it might have been brass as well too.. However, it is really flexible.. almost like the wire from a brass wire brush..
DougCarden
You have a sharp ledge in your chamber and It is slicing the bullet.

I could see this being the case.. So, is this bad? I am loading 147gr RN @ 1.14.. maybe I need to make some adjustments there?
