ppierceall
What do you think is better - Micro Slick or Tin Coating for the barrel and why?

TennJeep1618
I don't have any experience with TiN, but Micro Slick can wear pretty quickly. This is on a Rem 700 bolt after cycling it about 100 times. Edited July 5, 2015 by TennJeep1618
Watermelonassassin
What about Np3 coating? What parts can you coat and get away with it without messing with tolerances?
Agent #1911
TiN. 1k rounds so far on my limited gun and not a single scratch/wear on any part. Very impressed
ppierceall
I have a Tin coated barrel on my G- 23 but my 35 is getting a slide make over and the gunsmith is Micro Slicking the factory barrel I will upgrade to a KKM Tin coated barrel though. Jason Klein
TiN is a far better coating for a semi-auto barrel. I have roughly 30,000 through my AET SVI barrel and still looks brand new. The Microslik is great for bolts, but as shown above, can wear quickly, but still maintains a slick feel. Just doesn't look as pretty.
