When to change mag tube spring?

What are the symptoms, if any, that time has come for the spring to be replaced? I'm not having any issues with my M3000, but rather not get caught unprepared.

Empty hull ejects OK, loaded shell released from mag tube but sitting on carrier, bolt locked open = not enough spring strength to overcome bolt release latch.

yep, I had the problem at the beginning of this year and that is exactly what it did.

If you run an 11 round tube or more, I'd be changing at about 500 rounds. If you run a 10, maybe 1000 rounds. 8 round tuibe maybe 2000 rounds.

Looks like I need to buy a spare. 10 round tube approaching 1000 rounds.

That is assuming you are running that number live fire and at least that much in loading practice.

I'm not sure what this "practice" is you speak of...lol!
