seanc
As the subject suggests. Which spacer and do I need new followers or can I get away with the 38sc followers?
Sarge
with spacers there is no way a 38 follower will work. You must use the shorter 9mm follower. And as far as I know grams followers are not available individually. You have to buy spring and follower kits. I prefer the steel spacers (Hardy) from Shooters Connection. EkuJustice
I would look at the TTI spacers(similar to hardy but basically already prepped polished debuted etc and just a couple bucks more) and grams 9mm spring and follower pack. The 38 follower is too big to work with a spacer
echotango
Hardy spacers, grams 9mm spring/follower in all mags.
tagacali
You can do away with the spacers if you run long on your OAL and get the followers for the
9supercomp
How long does the OAL need to be before you don't need the spacer.
fmj3
You can do away with the spacers if you run long on your OAL and get the followers for the 38 Be careful, a lot of STI mags will let 9mm brass stack without a spacer to push the brass to the second rib. There is no OAL fix for this - the case is the case.
seanc
You can do away with the spacers if you run long on your OAL and get the followers for the 38 This seemed to work ok with stuff I loaded to 1.200. The mags I have were built by beven grams. I called him after I posted this and told him that my supercomp mags that he tuned are working and his reply was that 9mm in a 38sc mag without a spacer will fail. If it works its just luck, its not going to be 100%. sean Edited May 15, 2015 by seanc

I tried one in my gun and it worked fine but another guys gun had problems. It's certainly worth trying I guess.
EkuJustice
I would just use the correct spacers and followers for the 9mm as they arnt that pricy. How much bullet is in the case if it's loaded to 1.2 in 9mm?
echotango
With a 115 MG it's .078" Edited May 15, 2015 by echotango
Sarge
1.2 is a bit much. The most I have gone is 1.17 but generally stay just over 1.165.
