9mm STi, which spacer with grams followers?

with spacers there is no way a 38 follower will work. You must use the shorter 9mm follower. And as far as I know grams followers are not available individually. You have to buy spring and follower kits. I prefer the steel spacers (Hardy) from Shooters Connection.

I would look at the TTI spacers(similar to hardy but basically already prepped polished debuted etc and just a couple bucks more) and grams 9mm spring and follower pack. The 38 follower is too big to work with a spacer

You can do away with the spacers if you run long on your OAL and get the followers for the 38

Be careful, a lot of STI mags will let 9mm brass stack without a spacer to push the brass to the second rib. There is no OAL fix for this - the case is the case.

This seemed to work ok with stuff I loaded to 1.200.

The mags I have were built by beven grams. I called him after I posted this and told him that my supercomp mags that he tuned are working and his reply was that 9mm in a 38sc mag without a spacer will fail. If it works its just luck, its not going to be 100%.

Sometimes but not always. I tried one in my gun and it worked fine but another guys gun had problems.

It's certainly worth trying I guess.
