Forrest Halley
I'm looking for a better extractor for my stainless 10mm 1911. I've seen a few different ones but would appreciate opinions and input. Thanks.

Nugget
I put aftec extractors in all of my 1911 pattern pistols. They are not stainless but more than likely you will have to blend it to the back of your slide after which just sand to get the finish you prefer. Gary1911A1
I like the Ed Brown Unit, but don't know if it's offered in stainless. I put it in one of mine and with a little fitting it worked perfectly the first time.
ltdmstr
I would recommend AFTEC first. Although it's not stainless, it's very hard and not going to rust. If you definitely want stainless and/or a conventional extractor, then I would go with EGW.
ParaGunner
I've used Caspian and Ed Brown with great success.

Forrest Halley
Thanks for all the help. I ended up with a Wilson extractor due to availability and by the grace of God I was able to get the tension exactly right. I got the chamber polished and the gun is running very well and unable to tell whether it is being fed hollow points or fmj's. I can rip quads an triple taps with full house 10mm loads and enjoy shooting my boomer.
